Khalet Al Mai Emergency and Health Center Nears Completion in South West Bank

We are proud to announce that construction work on the Khalet Al Mai Emergency and Health Center is nearly complete. Located in the south of the West Bank, this new facility will soon begin providing life-saving medical and emergency care to seven underserved communities, including Masafer Yatta—one of the most marginalized regions in Palestine.

This project is part of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund’s (PCRF) broader efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across Palestine. By building a fully equipped emergency center in a remote area where no such services previously existed, PCRF is working to close the gap in access to essential health services for thousands of residents.

Access to emergency healthcare in the West Bank remains a challenge for many, particularly in remote communities like Masafer Yatta. The completion of the Khalet Al Mai Emergency and Health Center provides critical healthcare access to these populations, enhancing their ability to receive urgent care without long travel times or unsafe conditions.

None of this would be possible without your unwavering support. Together, we are building hope and access to care.
