Significant Progress in Khalet Al Mai Health and Emergency Center Construction

PCRF is excited to share an important milestone in the construction of the Khalet Al Mai Health and Emergency Center in the West Bank. The slab has been successfully cast, following the completion of all reinforcement and masonry wall work, marking significant progress in this vital healthcare project.

This center, located in Khalet Al Mai and serving the Masafer Yatta communities, is part of PCRF’s broader mission to address critical gaps in healthcare infrastructure across the region. Once completed, the facility will provide essential emergency and health services, ensuring improved healthcare access and better overall well-being for residents in these underserved areas.

Khalet Al Mai and Masafer Yatta are rural communities located in the southern West Bank, known for their agricultural heritage and resilient inhabitants. These areas face significant challenges due to limited access to basic services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure, compounded by their remote locations and ongoing political pressures. Despite these difficulties, the residents of Khalet Al Mai and Masafer Yatta remain steadfast, working to sustain their livelihoods and preserve their cultural identity. Initiatives like the construction of health centers aim to bridge critical gaps and improve the quality of life for these underserved communities.

By building infrastructure like the Khalet Al Mai Health and Emergency Center, PCRF continues to empower communities by improving healthcare systems, offering life-saving services, and fostering hope for a healthier future.
