Mariam recovering in Cincinnati after major surgery

Last month 12-year-old Mariam from Ramallah was sent by PCRF with her mom to Ohio for free surgery to help repair her complex congenital condition called tracheal stenosis. Mariam successfully underwent the first round of surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital three weeks ago, and was discharged this week from the hospital.  She is currently recovering at the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital and being supported by our Cincinnati chapter.  PCRF is the main humanitarian organization arranging free care abroad for sick and injured kids who cannot be treated locally.  Over 2,000 kids like Mariam have been sent abroad for free care since our founding.
