PCRF welcomed the volunteer medical Ophthalmic mission to Ramallah. The mission is led by Dr. Omar Ozgur, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Orbital Oncology, and Dr. Srinivas Lyengar, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Hugo Chavez Hospital in Turmusaya Village in the West Bank. They screened around 57 cases and scheduled 25 cases for surgeries this week, and performed 8 surgeries. In addition, they met with the director of the hospital, Dr. Zakaria Bouzieh, and discussed the needs of the hospital and the importance of medical missions.
