PCRF is partnering with a British Palliative Care Team to introduce an advanced diploma program in Gaza City's Turkish Hospital. This program covers theoretical and practical lessons, providing medical staff with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in palliative care. Led by esteemed experts like Dr. Mhoira Leng, head of our palliative care committee on our Medical Advisory Board, Dr. Anna Cleminson, Dr. Anna Voeuk, Dr. Bindu Thota, and Jenny Hunt, this dedicated team has selflessly served the Gaza Strip for years, focusing on training doctors, nurses, and aspiring medical students in this essential medical specialty. Palliative care is a multidisciplinary approach that aims to improve the quality of life and alleviate suffering for individuals battling complex, often terminal illnesses. This program will be critical in expanding access to high-quality healthcare and providing much-needed relief to those in need.
