PCRF Delivers Emergency Infant Formula to Over 2,200 Newborns in Gaza

Despite the ongoing blockade on Gaza and the worsening shortage of food and humanitarian supplies, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) continues to deliver life-saving aid to the most vulnerable—newborn infants.

As part of its emergency response to the war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, PCRF has distributed 4,450 cans of infant formula to 2,200 newborns (ages 0–6 months) in Gaza City and the northern governorates. The distribution was carried out through shelter centers and schools, where displaced families are seeking refuge.

In a region where thousands of families have lost access to basic necessities, including essential nutrition for babies, this effort ensures that infants living in extreme hardship receive the formula they urgently need to survive and grow.

This intervention highlights PCRF’s ongoing commitment to responding rapidly and effectively to humanitarian needs across Gaza, especially for children facing the harshest conditions during the war.
