As part of its One-Time Medical Sponsorship Program, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) recently delivered eyeglasses to children in Central Gaza. The distribution followed professional eye examinations to ensure each child received eyeglasses tailored to their vision needs.
This initiative comes amid the ongoing war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, and continues to cripple access to basic medical care and supplies. Despite the severe shortage of eyeglasses in the local market and skyrocketing prices, PCRF managed to source and deliver high-quality vision aids to children most in need.
The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1991, providing free medical care and humanitarian aid to children in the Middle East. Through local and international partnerships, PCRF works to close healthcare gaps and support vulnerable children with life-saving treatment.
