This week, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) distributed food packages to the beneficiaries of the monthly Sponsorship Program in the southern Gaza Strip, providing essential nutritional support to children and their families who continue to face dire humanitarian conditions.

The Sponsorship Program currently supports 46 children in southern Gaza and 66 children in central Gaza, totaling 112 children who receive regular humanitarian assistance tailored to their specific needs. These children, many of whom suffer from chronic illnesses and injuries, rely on this program for vital medical care, nutritional support, and other basic necessities.

The distribution was conducted in collaboration with the We Can! Gaza Field Team, a PCRF affiliate group dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through field visits and assessments to ensure that the most urgent needs are met effectively.

This distribution took place just days after the ceasefire following a 15-month-long war in Gaza, which tragically claimed the lives of hundreds of children. Despite the immense challenges, PCRF remains committed to standing with Gaza’s children, ensuring that they receive the care and support they desperately need.
