Pediatric urologist Dr. Ricardo Yanez returned to Palestine to begin the urology medical and department assessment mission throughout the Gaza Strip. He conducted screenings for six complex cases and worked closely with Dr. Mohamed Al Franji at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City to determine the optimal procedures for these patients. Additionally, he explored the development of a specialized program focused on bladder exstrophy. He also conducted department assessments at EGH (European Gaza Hospital) in the southern Gaza Strip and has begun performing surgeries. Dr. Yanez is part of our urology committee on our Medical Advisory Board and has led several surgery missions to Palestine with PCRF.
