Waseem, a 15-year-old from southern Gaza, has been coping with a bilateral amputation above the knee since birth. In 2015, he had the opportunity to travel to the United States through the PCRF Travel Abroad Program, where he received prosthetic limbs. Recently, he acquired new prostheses and successfully completed his training in collaboration with Hamad Hospital. Waseem displays remarkable resilience and self-reliance, adapting to his condition with grace. An exceptionally talented child, he finds solace and joy in drawing. He eagerly anticipates the activities organized by PCRF and Al Qudra Summer Camp for Amputees.
