PKU Milk Delivery For Children In Gaza
PKU Milk Delivery For Children In Gaza

In April, PCRF delivered 1,020 cans of milk for children with Phenylketonuria (PKU) type 2 to be distributed to primary care clinics in all regions of the Gaza Strip. This follows an earlier delivery of 720 packages of type 1 milk as part of our urgent relief program to support children with health problems in light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the area.

The milk provided by PCRF is crucial for children with PKU, as it helps prevent growth impairment, developmental disabilities, behavioral problems, and other associated health issues. Unfortunately, this type of milk is expensive and often unavailable in the Gaza Strip, making it difficult for families to provide it for their children. The delivery of this essential milk to affected children in Gaza is vital to the health and well-being of the child.

PCRF is the leading nonprofit organization in the world, supporting humanitarian projects and programs on the ground in Palestine. For over 30 years, we have provided tens of thousands of children in the Middle East with humanitarian aid and medical relief through direct support based on their needs.
