This week, Dr. Hisham Ammous, a volunteer plastic surgeon from Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem, returned to the PRCS Al Hamshiry Hospital in Saida, Lebanon to provide plastic and reconstructive surgery on refugee children.
Dr. Ammous has been volunteering with the PCRF for more than 15 years and has provided hundreds of children complex surgery that they otherwise could not get. He has led nearly two-dozen volunteer missions to Lebanon for the PCRF, and helped with treating children in Palestine as well.
