Solar Panels Provided for Chronically Ill Children in Gaza

This week, PCRF evaluated the homes of nine chronically ill children in the Gaza Strip and will provide them with solar panels. Over the past few years, dozens of children who depend on continued energy in their homes for medical care were provided solar panels through PCRF’s humanitarian projects. Due to the continued cuts in electricity in Gaza, in which power is provided only a few hours a day, solar power ensures that these sick children will have continued access to electricity. This alternative energy project helps to ensure these children get the medical relief they require while lessening the burden on their families from having to travel to clinics and hospitals for constant care.
