During his volunteer mission with the PCRF, cardiac surgeon Dr. Imad Tabry from the United States performs complex open-heart surgery for patients at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City and trains local surgeons to perform this complex surgery that is not available locally. Dr. Tabry has led many volunteer medical missions to Palestine over the past two decades, during which he has saved the lives of dozens of patients and trained many local surgeons.
