This week, children being treated for cancer at the Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department near Bethlehem in the West Bank received gifts and special meals sponsored by PCRF. This activity helps to encourage and support the children, boosting their morale while they continue to receive treatment. PCRF is thankful for our global donors who ensure that our children fighting this terrible disease have access to the best care possible in the world.
PCRF established The Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department in April of 2013 It is the first and only department in Palestine providing treatment for children with cancer in the public health sector. Since then, hundreds of children have had free life-saving care in this department, named after our founding member and head social worker, Huda Al Masri, who passed away from cancer in 2009.
