Kareem, a bright nine-year-old boy from Gaza City, experienced a life-changing event when he lost his leg below the knee in a traffic accident in front of his home. Over the years, as he grew, his previous prosthesis started causing him discomfort and pain while moving. Thanks to the collaborative efforts with Hamad Hospital, Kareem recently underwent a cast for a new prosthesis tailored to his needs. With joy and excitement, Kareem now proudly wears his new prosthesis, describing it as lighter and more conducive to playing and chasing after his siblings. This new prosthesis has brought comfort and ease to his daily life, allowing him to move freely and participate in activities he loves. Kareem's determination and resilience in the face of challenges inspire us all, and we are grateful to have been a part of his journey toward enhanced mobility and well-being.
