PCRF Distributes Special Milk for Disabled Children in Gaza

Today our humanitarian projects team in northern Gaza distributed special cans milk for 36 children suffering from a genetic disease called Phenylketonuria (PKU) in Gaza City. This project will benefit more than 100 children from Gaza city and Khan Younis and provide them a three-month supply of this important milk. Children with PKU need this milk to help prevent developmental delays, intellectual disability, behavioral issues and another health problem.

Unfortunately, this kind of milk is expensive and most families in the Gaza Strip are unable to provide it for their children. This humanitarian project is one of many in Gaza that targets a specific need during the current crisis there.
