One project no other NGO in Palestine offers sick children is the "Make a Wish" program in Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Pediatric Cancer Department. Today, 8-year-old Moayad from Khan Younis who is our department fighting leukemia wishes to become a doctor. Our team brought him an overcoat and equipment and he accompanied the two doctors in our department - Dr. Mahmoud Shbair and Dr. Salah Abu Shanab - to help examine patient samples under a microscope and evaluate kids in our inpatient department. Healing children with cancer isn't just medicine and treatment, it is also giving him hope and fulfilling their dreams.
