An 11-member team of doctors and nurses from Switzerland have returned to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah to provide open-heart surgery on children. Led by surgeon Dr. Amir-Reza Hosseinpour, the team are helping to support the building of a pediatric cardiac surgery program in the public sector in Palestine.

The team includes intensivists Dr. Maria Perez Marin and Dr. Marie-Hélène Perez, anesthesiologist Dr. Sylvain Mauron, cardiologist Dr. Angelika Weber, perfusionist Mr. Manuel Iafrate, anesthesia nurse Manuel Iafrate, respiratory physiotherapist Audrey Hertig, and ICU nurses Chantal Christe and Valerie Moity, This is their fourth mission to Palestine through PCRF in the last two years.
