14-year-old Weam Alastal from Khan Younis is being sponsored by PCRF for repairs to her prosthetic leg at Hamad Hospital in Gaza. Weam lost her leg when her home was bombed in 2014 and was sent by PCRF To Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and later to Atlanta for surgery and a new prosthesis. Due to the COVID-19 virus, she is not able to travel outside and is having her prosthetic adjusted and fixed to ensure that she continues to go to school. We thank all of our volunteers and supporters who have helped to take care of Weam and to support our Amputee Project in Gaza.
